The Vino Piazza is located just outside Lodi up Highway 12. It provides a unique adventure in wine tasting by being home to 12 small, family owned wineries that share the Lockeford Winery building originally built in 1946. Similar to Disney World, in Orlando Florida, you may need more than one day to experience it all- or should, because there are a lot of great wines to experience and a lot of great people to enjoy. Plan your weekends as Vino Piazza affiliate wineries are only open Friday through Sunday. Focusing this trip on Red Wines, I was immediately drawn to the following wineries: Boitano Family Winery, Macchia Wines, and Watts Family Winery.
