Is located atop a small knoll overlooking their vineyard. The tasting room
provides a panoramic view of the vines and surrounding mountains. Stay in the award winning tasting room or venture onto the
patio or sprawl out on the lawn. Nothing about Stryker Sonoma is ordinary. The tasting room is a modern structure that blends
functional requirements and building materials with the serene surroundings of the vineyard. The structure, designed by Schuh
Architects, Sonoma, CA, is featured in the book, Valley Architecture, and won the Architecture Design Award for Northern
California in 2002 presented by the AIA. Not only is the structure award wining, the personnel and tasting room atmosphere
is so impressive, they won Best Winery Tasting Room" for 2005 by, North Bay Biz Magazine. Excited? And we haven't
even told you about the wine yet! The energy and enthusiasm about making and serving fine wine is evident in the knowledgeable
and dedicated staff. The extensive wine list contains three Chardonnays, eight Zinfandels, four Merlots, seven Cabernet Sauvignons,
a Pinot Noir, a Syrah, a Petite Syrah, and two unique 100% varietals, a Cabernet Franc and a Petite Verdot. The difficulty
is determining which wines to try, because all the wines are full bodied, well balanced and live up to the anticipation brought
about by the award winning structure. So, come to Stryker Sonoma Winery for the view, and stay for the wine.
