Was not the easiest winery to find, but is definitely worth the effort. The tasting room is open
and contemporary with options of mingling at the horseshoe shaped tasting bar, nestling comfortably in the lounge, or enjoying
the great outdoors on the back patio. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and aim to please. The atmosphere is relaxed,
however, there is a slight sense of confidence and controlled excitement. They know they are serving the best wine with the
best value in the county. Don't be fooled by the exceptional surroundings, the handcrafted wines are definitely the main
attraction. 10 wine offerings are poured including a Double Gold Metal winning Chardonnay, a Double Gold Metal winning Cabernet
Sauvignon, and 91 through 93 point, Gold Metal winning Zinfandels. Wine Spectator Magazine said it best in April of 2007,
"The 30- to 50-year-old vines at Cuneo & Saini produced a concentrated, complex Zin in 2004. It coats the mouth with
flavor, yet it's still mouthwatering, a generous, Italianate red that delivers a wash of spices and floral notes. It's
smooth, elegant and lasting." Tasting wine at Mazzocco is not an isolated event. The Wilson family knows how to bring
you back for more. Their wine stimulates your sense of smell and taste, and on Friday nights, their Summer Concert Series
stimulate your passion and sense of being. With Mazzocco Sonoma providing some of the highest rated, award winning wines at exceptional value, and providing a friendly, family atmosphere
to enjoy these wines, they are high on our recommended list of places to visit.
