On approach, the road provides a scenic drive through the vineyard, past the barrel room, and up to the majestic oak trees, whose welcome shade provides the perfect haven for leaving wine in your car. Shade is always important during an afternoon of wine tasting. Inside the tasting room, the wine selection also becomes a welcome sight. In addition to award wining Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Zinfandel varietals, Alexander Valley Vineyards proudly serves Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Merlot and assorted blends. One such blend is from a competition created for the wine club members. Their efforts are our reward. Also, it is easy to be tempted by the Wicked Weekend combination: a special offering of Temptation Zin for Friday night, Gold Metal Award winning, Sin Zin, for Saturday night and finish the weekend off feeling angelic with Redemption Zin.
